Evergreen standard trees are very much in demand, giving gardens more privacy 12 months of the year.
We at Wyevale East Nurseries have a fantastic selection of evergreen standard, such as Quercus ilex, Prunus laurocerous, Arbutus unedo, Laurus nobilis, Euclyptus gunii, Viburnum lucidum, Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin', Prunus lusitanica, Ligustrum japonicum, Ligustrum lucidum 'Excelsum Superbum', Camellia japonica, Camellia sasanqua and more.
Many of these trees are availble in different sizes from 10-12 cm girth up to 20-25 cm girth. Please ask for details.

Small is beautiful

We have had a delivery of Ophiopogon japonica 'Minor' this week. A beautiful green clump-forming grass like plant. Smaller in size than the black grass, it makes a wonderful clump with time.
Just a little different from the normal.

We now have Lavender angustifolia available in 1.3 litre, 3 litre,10 litre and 15 litre. Beautiful big busy plants.
The Rosmarinus officanalis look lovely and fresh are available in 1.3 litre, 3 litre and 15 litre pot sizes.
The Rosmarinus officanalis 'Prostratus' are also available in 3 litre pot size.
The plants look great this early in the season.

'Heavenly Hellebores'

1500 coloured Hellebores just arrived today. Red and white flowers in single and double flowers available in 2 litre and 5 litre pots. Rather special is the Helleborous 'Party Dress', a beautiful double- flowered plant available in shades of pink and white.
Helleborus x sternii, Helleborus foetidus 'Miss Jekyll' and Helleborus multifidus 'Bocconei' also add a little extra to the range offered. These look great and will fly off the shelves! Come and see for yourselves.

Tree ferns here now!!

We have just recieved a new shipment of he ever popular Dicksonia Antartica (tree ferns) from Southern Australia. We are potting these now so they will fond in the comming months. Various sizes and quantities from 1ft to 9 ft.
These plants are lifted under licence for the native bush in Australia.

Wollemi Pine is here!!

We are very excited about a new plant currently available at Wyevale East Nurseries. The Wollemi Pine is a survivor from the Jurassic era and one of the greatest botanical discoveries of the Twentieth Century. A living fossil, it was discovered in the Wollemi National Park near Sydney, Australia in 1994, its exact location kept secret to this day for its own protection. The Wollemi Pine is an attractive specimen with three types of foliage dependent on age and at around five years they develop tiny bubbles on their trunks resembling bubbling chocolate!
Wyevale East are selling specimens of about 3 years of age. At a retail price of £90 you will receive a 3 litre Wollemi Pine and a gift pack consisting of an information booklet, certificate of authenticity and a sachet of Rootgrow, Mychorrhizal Fungi to improve the vigour and health of this rare pine.

We are very pleased to welcome two additional sales staff to the team. Our new Sales Manager Richard Burt brings with him many years of experience within the industry. Also Clare Endersbee. With her enthusiasm for plants, Clare will be here to help with your orders and enquiries.
Other new members of staff include Dan Evans and Lorna McCann ensuring plant and nursery standards are kept high at all times.
