Description: An intriguing, evergreen, grassy looking perennial with lance-shaped, strappy leaves that are held upright. Panicles of light and dark blue to mauve or sometimes white flowers with prominent yellow stamen are held above the foliage in summer followed by bright blue - purple berries.

 
Climate / Position: Sun / partial shade.

Height / Spread: Height 60cm. Spread 30cm.

Soil Requirements: Moderately fertile, humus-rich, well drained, slightly acid soil.

Pruning : None required.

Special Requirements:

 
Good for a woodland garden or a warm border. Plant en masse for best effect. Good drought tolerance and long lived once established.
