Description: A useful shrub for a sunny garden situation. Convolvulus is a rapid grower producing an open, compact rounded bush.. Small 'box-like' buds open to attractive white, trumpet-like flowers produced freely in the summer.

 
Climate/ Position: Grows well in a sheltered site in full sun.

Height / Spread: Height 60cm. Spread 90cm

Soil Requirements:Likes a gritty well-drained soil. Water freely when in growth but do not allow to stand in water in the winter months.

Pruning: None required

 
Convolvulus are brilliant plants for containers, gravel gardens, rockery gardens and coastal areas. The leaves are covred in a fine hair giving a silky texture. The word cnoreum is derived from the Greek 'Knoreum' meaning resembling an olive.
