Green walls are gaining in popularity and are fast becoming the must have for any garden designer's wall. The benefits of installing a green wall are huge and much research has been carried out. The main benefits are; reduce temperature in the summer months, reduce noise, improve air quality and reduce pollution.
The Easiwall panels differ from other green wall options as they can be planted in situ with plants of your choice with no establishment period needed - an instant effect and simple to install. These panels have been designed with ease in mind, they are light and the panels can also be cut to shape if needed. Once planted the foliage shades the panel, as a result the planting trough does not dry out and the plants do not suffer from drought.
Each panel is made up of 5 planting troughs with its own drip-line irrigation. The panels and irrigation system can be co-joined to form larger green walls. The panels have an average shelf life of 7-10 years in sunlight. Each panel is supplied with 1 back panel, 2 bolt-on side panels, 5 clip-on planting troughs, 10 clip-on trough dividers, 4 nuts and bolts with washers, 5 dripper irrigation tubes, irrigation supply tube and connectors.
Panels are available in black or special order grey and are best planted with plants in 9cm or 1litre pots with up to 6 plants per row. Select those that reach a total height of 30-60cm for best effect.
